No DIY Post today…

Hey!

So I don’t have a DIY or pretty pictures for you today.  I know that I should have several posts waiting in the queue, but I still work a full-time job, got the kiddies, and trying to fix up a bedroom.  In reality, I don’t do the post until Tuesday or Wednesday morning.  I can’t wait until this is my full-time and I can have a queue of posts that are already scheduled.  I will take today’s to just ramble about me, you can listen or just wait for the picture loaded post possibly on Friday.

So yesterday after work I got a migraine. White spots in front of my eyes, pain in my head, numbing on the left side of my body, and nausea. I haven’t had a migraine since I was about 17 years old, when my thyroid was out of whack.  See I used to have hypothyroidism, which is when everything in your body is sped up, basically.  My metabolism was fast, I lost 60lbs in two months.  Heartbeat..fast. Thinking…super fast.  Temperature, out of whack and bones in constant pain.  To solve this problem my Doc decided to give me radiation to kill half my thyroid.  And killed it she did.  Everything started to regulate, except for my weight, I gain a lot of weight!  I have to be on medication for the rest of my life, but the migraines and other life threatening issues are gone.  Constantly fighting my weight issues with exercise and a low carb high fat diet.  So this migraine was a bit weird, surprising, and scary for me.

Anyway, I just joined the #IGBuilderChallenge (#IGBC).  I am a bit excited and I really want to win!  I don’t usually have that feeling when I enter a challenge because I don’t want to get my hopes up, but I actually want to learn something. The #IGBC is a two week challenge where you will provided with build plans.  You have to follow the plans, but can use wood, metal or other objects as long as it still looks like the plans that were provided.  I hope to be able to get it done in the allotted time.  It seems that I am already behind schedule because the other challengers have started and we received the plans yesterday.  I’m still excited nonetheless!!

Dior’s room is very overwhelming and I am having a hard time mentally adjusting to all of the items I have to get rid of.  Dior’s room used to be Dallas’ room, so some of her old things are still there and then there’s that GIGANTIC wardrobe, ugh!!  I am working hard in there today because Friday I will need to split the day between Dior’s room and cleaning off the back porch because the back porch is my workshop and as I said before I am part of the #IGBC!!
